Map of Margaret River
Margaret River is a town in the south-west of Western Australia, and gives its name to the wine region around it. The region is known for Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay, and Caves Road runs through it from north to south, parallel to the coast.
Voyager Estate is on Gnarawary Road, near the town. Vasse Felix is in Cowaramup, to the north, at the corner of Caves Road and Tom Cullity Drive. A hosted tasting at the Vasse Felix bar costs 15 Australian dollars, its vineyard tour 50 dollars, and Voyager Estate’s private tasting with paired snacks 65 dollars, which must be booked. Cowaramup is closer to the northern cellar doors. Margaret River town is the larger base.
