South Beach Wine & Food Festival

The South Beach Wine & Food Festival is a four-day festival of wine, spirits and food held in Miami Beach. The 2027 edition falls in February. Its full name, Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival, carries the names of two television channels. The organisers describe a national, star-studded, four-day destination event “showcasing the talents of the world’s most renowned wine and spirits producers, chefs and culinary personalities”.

The 2027 festival runs from Thursday 25 to Sunday 28 February 2027 in Miami Beach. The organisers had announced the dates (“Save the Date!”) when this page was checked, on 29 September 2026. What to eat and drink

• Wine and spirits. Both are in the festival’s description, alongside the chefs.
• Miami’s Cuban food. Between events, Little Havana, in Miami, is the place for a Cuban sandwich, a café cubano or a cortadito.
• Florida stone crab. The claws are in season through the winter, and February falls within it.
• Key lime pie. The Florida dessert, made with small, tart key limes, is on many menus.
• Latin American cooking. Miami’s Peruvian, Colombian and Venezuelan restaurants are another reason to eat beyond the festival programme.

When to come

February is the dry season in South Florida. A four-day festival from Thursday to Sunday suits a long weekend: choose your events once the programme is out, then fix your flights.

The legal drinking age in the United States is 21, and events that serve alcohol can check it: bring a photo ID.

Getting there

Miami International Airport is on the mainland, a drive across one of the causeways to Miami Beach. Fort Lauderdale’s airport, to the north, is an alternative.

Where to stay and budget

South Beach, the southern end of Miami Beach, has the Art Deco hotels and the beach. Miami itself, across the bay, is closer to events held on the mainland. The budget depends on the events you choose: add up their prices once published, then add accommodation and transport.
