London, the United Kingdom’s capital, is served by Heathrow, Gatwick and several other airports. Its stage of the 2027 Foodies Festival tour is not in the centre but at Syon Park, the grounds of Syon House, on the Thames in west London, from Saturday 29 to Monday 31 May 2027, the spring bank holiday weekend.

London Cocktail Week, the city-wide cocktail festival, skips 2026 and moves to March 2027 (exact dates not yet published). In 2025 Signature Cocktails cost £9 with the wristband.

Practical notes

  • Syon Park lies east of Heathrow, between the airport and central London. Brentford and Syon Lane are the nearest railway stations, with trains from London Waterloo.
  • A stay in central London means a train or bus ride to the park. West London puts you closer.

On the tour

Syon Park is the third stop. Six days after it opens, the tour reaches St Albans, a train ride north of the city, on 4 June.

What to eat in London

London eats the world: its markets and neighbourhoods carry the cooking of every community that settled in the city. Borough Market, near London Bridge, gathers British producers, cheesemongers and bakers. Brick Lane, in the East End, is known for its curry houses and its bagel shops. Chinatown, in Soho, has its restaurants and bakeries. Pie and mash and the Sunday roast are the older London classics.

Food tours

Three operators publish an adult price for a guided food tour, from 66 to 89 pounds (October 2026):

  • Notting Hill with Eating Europe, 2 hours, Monday to Saturday at 10 am.
  • Soho with Secret Food Tours, 2 hours, for guests aged 18 and over.
  • Borough Market with London Bites Tours, 3 hours, daily except Monday.

Where to stay

For Syon Park, west London, around Richmond, Brentford or Ealing, is the practical side of the city. Heathrow’s hotels are close too.
