Grand tastings
The walk-around tastings of the April festival. In 2026 its Tasting Pavilion brought together dozens of chefs, wineries and distilleries.
California wine
Monterey County, around the peninsula, is one of California’s wine regions. Napa Valley estates poured at the festival’s 2026 seminars.
Pacific seafood
The peninsula looks onto the Pacific and Monterey Bay, and fish and shellfish fill local menus.
Pebble Beach is a resort community on the Monterey Peninsula, on California’s Central Coast, along the coast road of 17 Mile Drive in the Del Monte Forest. Its golf links made its name. Each April, Pebble Beach Food & Wine brings chefs and winemakers to the various locations of Pebble Beach Resorts.
A peninsula of resorts and small towns
- Carmel-by-the-Sea: the town next door, whose tourism board lists the festival and relays special hotel rates from local innkeepers.
- Monterey: the town on Monterey Bay.
Pebble Beach has no town centre: it is a resort and residential area inside the Del Monte Forest, reached by 17 Mile Drive.
Wine country to the south and east
- Monterey County: one of California’s wine regions, with vineyards inland from the coast.
- At the festival: the 2026 seminars poured Harlan Estate and Grace Family Vineyards from Napa Valley, beside bourbon, tequila and Champagne.

The festival is ticketed from start to finish.
- 2027: Thursday 1 to Sunday 4 April, according to the Carmel-by-the-Sea tourism board.
- Scale in 2026: more than 150 award-winning chefs and 150 wine and spirits producers, said Fine Dining Lovers.
- Tickets: most events sold à la carte, or bundled in packages from $1,750 (2026).
