Pebble Beach Food & Wine spreads its tastings and dinners across the various locations of Pebble Beach Resorts, on 17 Mile Drive in the Del Monte Forest, for one long weekend each spring. The Carmel-by-the-Sea tourism board calls it “The Nation’s Premier Food & Wine Event”.

“Pebble Beach Food & Wine welcomes a star-studded list of James Beard Award winners, Michelin-Star chefs, and top culinary TV personalities”, says the Carmel-by-the-Sea tourism board.
The 2026 edition, the festival’s fifteenth year according to JustLuxe, was anchored at The Inn at Spanish Bay. Its programme, as Fine Dining Lovers described it:
- Tastings: grand tastings and the Tasting Pavilion.
- Tables: intimate chef dinners.
- On the shore: beachside cocktail mixers.
- Off the plate: scenic golf outings and rare wine cellar experiences.
The rare wine seminars
In 2026 the rare wine seminars named Pappy Van Winkle, Clase Azul, Harlan Estate, Grace Family Vineyards and Champagne Jacquesson.
Pebble Beach is a resort community between Carmel-by-the-Sea and Monterey.
For the 2027 weekend, the Carmel-by-the-Sea tourism board announces 125 global chefs and 150 wineries, with mixologists, sommeliers and beverage personalities, over four days.
Tasting rooms in Carmel-by-the-Sea
The Carmel tourism board, which relays the festival’s hotel rates, lists 16 wine tasting rooms in Carmel-by-the-Sea, all within walking distance of the village’s hotels and inns, and calls Monterey County one of California’s largest premium wine regions.
- First in town: Galante Family Winery is billed on that list as Carmel’s first wine tasting room.
- Later in the year: Carmel Culinary Week, with more than 30 participating restaurants, is announced for 4 to 13 June 2027.
