Food festivals in New York City, month by month
New York City is made up of five boroughs, with Manhattan at its centre. The New York City Wine & Food Festival announces its 20th edition for 14 to 17 October 2027. In 2026, from 15 to 18 October, it was based at the Seaport, on the East River in Lower Manhattan, around Pier 17 and its rooftop, with dinners and events across the city.
Smorgasburg, an open-air food market of independent vendors, runs at weekends during its season: in 2026, on Saturdays on the Williamsburg waterfront, in Brooklyn, on Sundays in Prospect Park, and from Friday to Sunday in Central Park. Visit Brooklyn gives the season as April through October.
