New York City Wine & Food Festival

The New York City Wine & Food Festival is a four-day series of tastings, dinners and events held each October. Its full name, Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival presented by Invesco QQQ, names the Food Network television channel and its presenting sponsor. The festival bills itself as New York City’s premier wine and food festival.

The 2027 edition, the 20th

By 21 October 2026, when this page was checked, the festival’s site carried a new message: “See you next year! Join us for our 20th anniversary, October 14 - 17, 2027.” The announcement gave the dates only, with no 2027 programme, venues or tickets yet.

New York City Wine & Food Festival 2026

The 2026 edition ran from Thursday 15 to Sunday 18 October 2026. The organisers announced it in July 2026 as a citywide celebration of New York’s culinary spirit, with its base back at the Seaport, in Lower Manhattan: the Invesco QQQ Festival Campus and the Pier 17 rooftop, on the East River. Dinners and other events took place in restaurants across the city. According to the James Beard Foundation, which lists the festival, 2026 was its 19th year, with nearly 50 events.

Tickets

Tickets are sold event by event on the festival’s site. For 2026, the ticket site listed the programme by day, from Thursday 15 to Sunday 18 October, with the price and contents of each ticket: it is the place to look for the 2027 events once they are published.

What to eat and drink

• Wine and food together. Both are in the festival’s name. In 2026 the ticket site listed the events day by day.
• New York classics. Between events, the city has its own dishes: pizza by the slice, bagels with cream cheese, pastrami on rye from a Jewish deli, New York cheesecake.
• The Seaport itself. The old port district on the East River, the festival’s base in 2026, has restaurants of its own.

Practical tips

• Book early. Popular events can sell out before the festival opens: buy as soon as you know your dates.
• Plan by neighbourhood. In 2026 the campus events were in Lower Manhattan, but dinners were spread across the city: check each address before you combine two events in one evening.
• Getting there. Fulton Street subway station is a short walk from the Seaport. JFK, LaGuardia and Newark airports all serve the city.

Lower Manhattan and the Financial District are a walk from the Seaport, the festival’s base in 2026. Anywhere along the subway lines that reach Fulton Street works too. The budget depends on the events you choose: add up the prices on the ticket site once the 2027 programme is out, then accommodation, which in New York City is the larger part of a festival trip.

In 2026, the Wellfleet OysterFest, on Cape Cod, fell on 17 and 18 October, the festival’s last weekend, and the Great American Beer Festival ran in Denver on 10 and 11 October. Neither had published its 2027 dates when this page was checked, on 21 October 2026: once the OysterFest dates are out, a trip can again pair a few days in New York with the oyster weekend on the Cape.
