Île-de-France is the region around Paris, and its food events in this guide are, for now, those of the capital. The main one is the Salon du Chocolat, held in Pavilion 5 of Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, in the 15th arrondissement on the southern edge of the city. In 2026 it is open to the public from 28 October to 1 November. The same exhibition centre hosts the Salon International de l’Agriculture, the farm fair, from 27 February to 7 March 2027.

Getting around

The regional network of metro, RER suburban trains, trams and buses reaches the exhibition centre directly: metro line 12 and tram lines T2 and T3a stop at Porte de Versailles. Paris has two main airports, Charles de Gaulle and Orly, both linked to the city by public transport.
