The Salon du Chocolat is the annual chocolate fair of Paris, run by the events company Comexposium in Pavilion 5 of Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, the large exhibition centre on the southern edge of the city. In 2026 it is open to the public from Wednesday 28 October to Sunday 1 November, from 10 am to 7 pm. An opening night on Tuesday 27 October, from 7 pm to 10 pm, is reserved for special access. Ticket sales for 2026 are open on the organiser’s site.
The organiser bills 2026 as a new, immersive edition. This page sticks to what the organiser had published when the facts were checked, on 29 September 2026. Anything else is on the official site.
What to taste
- Single-origin chocolate. The organiser puts tastings of premium single-origin chocolates at the centre of the fair. A single-origin bar is made from cocoa beans of one country or region, so tasting several side by side is the clearest way to taste how origin changes flavour.
- Small tastes, many stands. Walk the whole hall once before you start tasting: it is easy to fill up at the first stands.

Practical tips for the Salon du Chocolat Paris
- Come on a weekday. Adult tickets cost 4 euros less from Wednesday to Friday, and children’s tickets 2 euros less.
- One ticket, one day. If you want to come back, you need a second ticket.
- Check the dates on the ticket page. In late September 2026, one link on the English home page still read 29 October to 2 November, while the dates page, the FAQ and the ticket page all gave 28 October to 1 November. This guide follows the latter.
- Access. The address is 1 Place de la Porte de Versailles, 75015 Paris. Metro line 12 and tram lines T2 and T3a stop at Porte de Versailles.
- Where to stay. Hotels around Porte de Versailles are a short walk from the hall, and anywhere along metro line 12 gives a direct ride.
