Food festivals in Paris, month by month
Paris hosts the Salon du Chocolat every autumn at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, the exhibition centre on the city’s southern edge. The 2026 fair is open to the public from Wednesday 28 October to Sunday 1 November, from 10 am to 7 pm, after an opening night on Tuesday 27 October.
Tickets are sold for one day of your choice. In 2026 an adult pays 16 euros on a weekday and 20 euros at the weekend, and children under 6 enter free.
At the end of winter, the same exhibition centre hosts the Salon International de l’Agriculture, France’s farm fair, with produce from the French regions, overseas France and the world: from 27 February to 7 March 2027, every day from 9 am to 7 pm.
Each May, around Saint-Honoré’s day (16 May), the Fête du Pain sets up on the Parvis de Notre-Dame with the national best-baguette contest: 8 to 17 May in 2026, free entry, 2027 dates not yet published.
Practical notes
- The exhibition centre is at 1 Place de la Porte de Versailles, in the 15th arrondissement. Metro line 12 and tram lines T2 and T3a stop outside.
- Weekday tickets cost less than weekend ones, so a Wednesday to Friday visit saves money.
- Hotels around Porte de Versailles are within walking distance of the fair. Anywhere along metro line 12 is a direct ride.
