Edinburgh hosts the Foodies Festival from Friday 6 to Sunday 8 August 2027, the first of the two Scottish stops on the 2027 tour.

Around the festival
August is festival month in Edinburgh, with the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and the Edinburgh International Festival filling the city’s venues. For food, Scotland’s classics are easy to find: haggis with neeps and tatties, smoked salmon, Cullen skink, a smoked haddock soup, and single malt whisky. Leith, the old port north of the centre, is known for its waterfront restaurants. Between meals, the Royal Mile runs down from Edinburgh Castle to the Palace of Holyroodhouse through the Old Town.
Getting there
Edinburgh Waverley station is in the centre, with trains from London King’s Cross and from Glasgow. Edinburgh Airport, west of the city, is linked to the centre by tram, and Lothian buses serve the city.
Where to stay
The Fringe and the International Festival share the city with the Foodies stage, so a room in the capital is the first thing to secure once your dates are set. Glasgow, host of the next stage, is the fallback.
