Foodies Festival Tatton Park

Tatton Park, a historic estate on the edge of Knutsford, in Cheshire, hosts the Foodies Festival from Friday 9 to Sunday 11 July 2027. It is the one stage of the 2027 tour in the north-west of England, a week before Winchester in the south and four weeks before Edinburgh.

Around the festival

Tatton Park is a large estate with a mansion, formal gardens and a deer park. Cheshire gives its name to Cheshire cheese, a crumbly cow’s milk cheese. Knutsford itself, the model for the town in Elizabeth Gaskell’s novel Cranford, has a compact centre of old streets and pubs. Manchester, to the north-east, is the nearest large city, with its own restaurants and markets for the evenings.

Getting there

Knutsford station is on the railway line to Manchester, and the estate begins on the town’s northern edge.

A week later, the tour reaches Winchester, in Hampshire, from 16 to 18 July 2027. In August, it heads north to Edinburgh (6 to 8 August) and Glasgow (13 to 15 August).
