Glasgow hosts the Foodies Festival from Friday 13 to Sunday 15 August 2027, the second Scottish stop of the 2027 tour, a week after Edinburgh.

Around the festival
Glasgow, on the River Clyde, is known for its Victorian architecture, its museums, such as Kelvingrove, and its music venues. Its food scene runs from Scottish classics to curry houses. The chicken tikka masala is often said to have been created in Glasgow, a claim others dispute. The West End, around Byres Road, has many of its restaurants and cafés. Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum is free to enter, and the Riverside Museum stands on the Clyde waterfront.
Getting there
Glasgow Central and Queen Street stations are in the city centre, with trains from London and frequent services to Edinburgh. Glasgow Airport is west of the city, with buses to the centre. The city also has a small underground loop, the Subway, linking the centre and the West End.

The city centre and the West End are practical bases. In August, Glasgow is also an alternative base for visitors to the Edinburgh Fringe.

Edinburgh hosts its stage a week earlier, from 6 to 8 August 2027. The tour ends in Oxford, from 28 to 30 August.
